This is my recreation of CAL FIRE’s Skid 34, a CAT 299D Skid Steer with a 300 Gal. Frye Box T3 attachment. This specific model serves in CAL FIRE’s MEU (Mendocino) Unit which covers the county north of San Francisco.
The T3 is a quickly deployable skid steer attachment that features a small dozer blade, including up to 4 I believe water nozzles. All pumping operations for the water inside is powered by a 4 stroke 7HP pump. Additional options can include hose reels, fuel for prescribed burns, or simply upgrading to the bigger T5 unit which has a 500 Gal. tank. Also included in this model is a easily swappable bucket for normal skid steer operations including excavating. Included in the stowage rack of the T3 is a chainsaw and burn can. Stickers are included!
I really do recommend checking these guys out, super cool stuff and innovative for a way cheaper cost compared to getting a full dozer team for the department and a type 6 brush truck. Thank you to https://www.instagram.com/country_bricks/ for commissioning me!
