TIE Scimitar

The TIE Scimitar is a Assault bomber used by the Empire. The bomber instead of using proto bombs uses Torpedo tubes angled down and fires concussion missiles. It was piloted by a crew of 2 that sit in the front section of the vehicle that also doubled as a escape pod that detaches from the body. The Scimitar was planned as being the replacement of the TIE Bomber but was not approved as Thrawn rose to power.
