The Low Assault Altitude Transport, better known as the republic gunship is an iconic ship from the Star Wars universe. It was first seen during the first battle of Geonosis.

We can see this version of the gunship in some episode from the clone wars TV show.

It took me about 2 years of trial and errors to arrive to this design, it mixes a high level of details and accuracy while still being strong enough to be swooshed around. The only compromise I hade to make was to keep a transparent support in the troop bay. The double doors can open to reveal a troop bay which can hold 17 clones with the doors open, and 8 clones with the doors closed, plus the 2 pilots.

This version also includes a barc speeder with sidecar (that can turn 180°). To place the minifigs on the barc speeder and on the sidecar you will have to remove the legs, place each of them on the pedals, and also replace the hips by a 1*2 white plate. It gives a more dynamic look to the minifigs. You can see how it looks on my Instagram @thelegowolfpack
