About the Utilipede Transport
The Utilipede Transport was created for Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge, and sits above Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo in Black Spire Outpost. It’s also featured prominently in Star Wars Outlaws, in basically every docking bay and landing pad, and a modified version used by the rogue merchant, Shuma.
About this MOC
Due to the very thin spine connecting the cockpit to the engines, this ship was very challenging to build in a sturdy way. After several weeks of iterations, and a variety of SNOT techniques, I arrived at this solution. It’s quite study and allows for all 3 cargo containers to be securely attached. The cockpit also features an adjustable seat and flight controls. When swooshing this ship, it’s advised that you hold it on the spine, rather than the top wing.
Optional Transport Containers
In the Star Wars Outlaws game, transport containers are seen in a wide variety of colors. To give you maximum flexibility, I’ve included a separate parts list and instructions to build the containers. Each container is 115 parts, costing approximately $12 for the light bluish gray version. The instructions shows how to securely attach the containers under the ship spine.
