The U-47 is a German submarine from World War II, well known for its remarkable feats under the command of Günther Prien. Commissioned in December 1938, this Type VIIB U-boat achieved fame with its daring attack on the British Royal Navy’s Scapa Flow naval base in October 1939, where it successfully sank the battleship HMS Royal Oak. The U-47 undertook ten combat patrols, sinking a total of 31 enemy vessels before it was reported missing in March 1941.
This model shows the Submarine in Scale 1:200 and has a presentation stand based on the submarines Maling.
