U 2511 was as Submarine of the futuristic type XXI from world war 2. Ist was the only boat this type, which was able to go on mission befor end ow WWII.
It was a “electric boat” and the first submarine type, which was faster unter the surface than over the surface. It started a paradim chanche in the build, which hold on to today.
