LEGO UCS TIE Fighter Alternate Build

Intro:

• For this MOC, my goal was to create an accurate UCS TIE Fighter alternate build using only the pieces in one copy of the set 75382 UCS TIE Interceptor. Changes were only made to the wings and stand. Both wings are mirrored and use the exact same pieces. Some inspiration was taken from the 2015 UCS TIE Fighter (75095)

Size of Model:

• 33.5 W x 27.5 L x 41.5 H (cm)

Details:

• Follow the official 75382 instructions until step #252, this is where these instructions begin. This will have you build the main body and most of the stand.
• Detailed instructions are included and were used to build the physical model pictured above.
• The instructions are easy to follow and include a mix of real photos and digital models of both wings.
• The wings are quite strong and have the smallest possible amount of filler brick showing
• The model sits on the stand in a stable way, however, it is advised to use extra bricks or elevate the stand because the wings are too tall for the original stand. Unfortunately, the interceptor stand sits fairly low and it was not possible to raise it any further with the provided parts without compromising other areas.

Logistics:

• This model has been physically built using the included instructions.
• All elements come exclusively from one copy of the UCS TIE INTERCEPTOR, set 75382
• A small amount of extra pieces remain which are not used in the model
• The Rebrickable parts list only includes the parts included in the wings as only they and the stand differ from the official model
• Follow the official 75382 instructions until step #252, this is where these instructions begin. This will have you build the main body and most of the stand.
